In response to the growing demand for artistic mobility, the Gare de Matapédia - Pôle artistique et communautaire is continuing its Accès Libre residency program, offering its studio space and residency services to an ever-increasing number of visual artists at reduced cost, subject to availability. Accommodation may also be available.
WHO CAN APPLY?
All professional artists and curators, regardless of nationality, are eligible to apply to the Open Access Residencies program. They are invited to apply at any time according to the terms and conditions specified below. La Gare de Matapédia undertakes to respond within two weeks of receiving the application, which will be evaluated by an artistic committee according to the artistic criteria of the proposed residency.
HOW TO APPLY
We receive applications at all times. Please send us a letter of intent with your contact details, desired dates, residency project, curriculum vitae and images of your work to caroline@garedematapedia.ca.
